Carlos Tevez's Wage Slip

I guess.

Makes sense.

Just seems weird. Imagine Balotelli going into work... 'Hey lads, pay slips in yet?'

I can imagine Balotelli doing any number of things, that is not one of them. He probably has someone pick it up for him

Would a footballer spot if their pay was a tenner short ? Like we would

Someone I know started looking after a pretty major premier league player at the time and when they had a good look at his outgoings he was still paying for at least one (off the top of my head i think possibly two) cars he was no longer leasing. So I answer to your question probably not

I did question if professional footballers would get a wage slip.

Seems weird! But is it?!

Remember somebody had pictures of Dirk kuyts` and maxi rodrigez(i think) the other year, seemed real enough but who knows. why would anybody be arsed faking it.
sorry didn`t see all replys above before posting.

Christ on a very expensive bike. All that is currently wrong with football right there in one small jpeg. Disgusting.

Of course pro footballers get wage slips.
Some years ago, around 1999/2000, I was inspecting a car from a multi national rental company, that had been leased to Chelski fc. In the boot was a wage slip belonging to the then young "rising star" Sam Dalla Bona, if memory serves me correctly he would have been in his late teens & his take home was around 19k a week.
More interesting to us were the handful of business cards of the type I'm informed you may find stuck up inside telephone boxes! Oh to be a 20 year old with 19k burning a hole in my pocket!

About as unreal as it is fake. Impossible to imagine Mr. C. tevez is not a Limited Company thereby avoiding tax at normal rates.

No, they can't do that. It's been tried before & HMRC stamped on it, as a player cannot class himself as self employed, as he is not permitted to offer more than one business his services at any one time. He is therefore a contracted employee & liable to PAYE the same as the rest of us. The exception to this is image rights, this can be channeled via a Limited company, so Carlos will no doubt have another wedge dropping in there on a monthly basis as well.

Not that it makes it any better, but when the media want to have a dig at footballers they always refer to their salary for example, many people would think "£200 grand a week Mario Balloteli" was his name. It always make me think that the likes of Balloteli & co probably pay more in tax to this country than half of the population of Manchester do put together.

I think there should be a new column on the payslip for all players, if in any given month they have been a complete tw*t then the club apply the 'ar*ehole' tax. I would imagine we'd be looking at quite a few players owing their clubs money each month
