Brazil legend Carlos Alberto, the captain of the 1970 World Cup has died aged 72. He scored one of the greatest World Cup goals in the 1970's finals.

Just so perfect in showcasing the talent in that team. Total football before the term was coined

Tostao tackling back, Clodoaldo's dribble, Jairzinho's exquisite first touch to control a pacy, clipped pass down the wing. Then Pele slowing everything down which gives Carlos Alberto time to meet his perfectly weighted pass and just thump it without breaking stride.

That side was as tight as a Miles Davis quintet.
