I was driving thru the tunnel before and my car , ford focus, just stopped accelerating, like the engine just went into limp mode, As im going up the hill it stopped maintaining its speed and ended up from 40 to 20 ish, no warning lights came on or anything. When i was at lights it took ages to get thru 1st and 2nd gear and woyldnt get over 40 unless i was going dowhill.

Im not clued in on this so any advice off someone who knows would be appreciated

Im a bit pissed off with it seeing as it got a full service last week. so any pisstaking would also be appreciated!

@Joey66 has got an Astra for sale if you need a new one.

It`s been converted to run on rock salt and curry powder, so it`s cheap to run too.

The logical solution would be to move to an area where it's all downhill, after the first use you'll need to move again to somewhere further down the hill and repeat that process until you sell the car.

The logical solution would be to move to an area where it's all downhill, after the first use you'll need to move again to somewhere further down the hill and repeat that process until you sell the car.

Sounds like its computer glitch making your car run on emergency/Safe mode
Find someone with a reader that will tell ye the problem

It sounds like it could be the overhead manifold sprocket intake ..... might be blocked.

Turn it off and back on again? Usually fixes that kind of stuff.
