We've always parked on Stanley Park or the old school opposite.

I see the school is now gone, so probably mean Stanley Park will get full. Don't want to find we can't park, miss kick off etc...

Any suggestions for a good alternative?

The Liverpool Film Academy off Westminster Road although the entrance is actually on Leighton Street is my preferred choice.

£5 per car and usually ample spaces if you're there at a reasonably suitable time - before 2pm on a Saturday at 7pm for night matches.

Then it's only a five minute walk along to County Road and straight towards the ground.

Try Mark Street, off Netherfield Road North. Drive to end of cul de sac, there's always a space there next to the sandstone rock face. Never even been hassled by 'mind yer care mate' lids. 15 min walk to ground.

I'll check these out, thanks!

Coming from Prescot, I've only ever approached the ground from Priory road or Utting ave, so never seen any of these.

...if you're coming along Queens Drive you can usually pay to park at the school next to the flyover.

Never been that far (on match day that is). Always gone either Old Swan>Tuebrook>Priory road or Queens Drive>Utting ave.

Deffo think Stanley Park will be full & we only get there 30/40 mins before KO, so can't afford to be stuck.

Will be checking all these out, ta!

Carry on down Queens Drive to the Rice Lane flyover go right at the roundabout and park on any of the side streets. 15 mins walk and you'll miss most of the congestion.
