Car Park Height Restrictions?

Hi all,

Heading up on Sunday for my first game and just after some parking advice. I will be driving my van which has a roof rack on it, are any of the car parks around the ground height restricted?

I'm coming all the way from Sussex so I don't want to get all that way and then have a struggle trying to park! I would get the train, but it will take too long and involve a lot of changes etc.

Any info on height limits and best place to park up that's nice and secure much appreciated!

You wouldn't fit the van on the train either mate.

Just park on the road, you'll be sound.

I sometimes park in the Walton hall sports centre thingy - "lifestyles" It's a fiver and from memory there is no height restriction and not too great distance from the ground (just under a mile?)

Take the roof off and cruise up in a convertible van, weld the roof back on when you get home.

Park up by The Valley pub on St Domingo Road mate, just leave it on the road and it will be fine. You'll have a decent get away as well if you park facing up the hill.

For years I've parked on the road behind the Stanley Pub on Walton Breck Road. Free, can get a pint before the game and because its a small housing estate its secure. Its also within good walking distance from the ground too.
