Rub it down with wet and dry, and mask the area off prime it get the correct paint the code is under your bonnet and ifs it's perslecent spray paint spray the area 4 times in 60 second intervals - only do this if the area is not a massive one let it dry for a few days and then use T - Cut to blend in the new paint with the area you have scratched ......
Do it on a dry windless day in good light ;)

@pedro789 If you follow these clear and concise instructions please post the results, otherwise ignore what Joey has attempted to type and learn to use google.

Use You Tube - I have had a lot of success sprayed a whole wing mirror back quoted £75 did it for £15 in 5 minutes.....

You drive a 20 yr old Astra, so you could paint zebra stripes on it and it wouldn`t make a blind bit of difference to the body work.

@pedro789 ignore anything that Joey says as he`s quite mad.

There`s loads of of companies that`ll come out and do it outside the house - " Dent Master " etc.

However it`s not really the best weather for doing bodywork outside, as it`ll be hard for them to get a decent finish.

Try a few local body shops, shouldn`t be too costly and you`ll get a proper finish.
