Does anyone think they are exceptionally bright these days? I think they are really powerful but I've had a problem with them for a few years and now the winter nights are coming back, my problem is coming back with car headlights.

In November 2009, I had laser eye surgery, it cost £2800 and I thought it would be the best thing ever, my eye sight is fine, but since having it I developed a problem with car headlights. They blind me, they make my eyes feel tired and sore, I can't see with them and they cause me so many problems.

After having my surgery, I was driving along a country lane. The surgeon told me to wear sunglasses at all times, this was 2/3 weeks after my op. car lights seemed really bright, at the point I'd had enough and put my foot down as I approached a bend, it was pouring with rain and as the fence got closer I hit the brakes but just carried on, I went through the fence and landed in the farmers field (there's a roundabout there now, probably due to me) I can talk about another story here but I'll save that 1 for another time. I'll stick to my headlight problem tonight. I've tried glasses that have a yellow tint which worked a little bit but not much, I've tried the darkest type of sunglasses but I will probably run someone over so stopped using them.
It really agitates me, I don't have any solutions and this problem will affect me as the dark nights draw near. I sometimes have to stop the car and close my eyes for ten minutes. I use eye drops as since my surgery my eyes have become dry and they also diagnosed me with something called "blepharitis" I sometimes wish I kept my glasses, it gets me down having to live like this in the winter. Does anyone else have these problems?
