....the skipper doesn't have to be the Tarzan type, indeed much of what they do goes unnoticed. Look at Jagielka last season coming off the pitch and making a point of chatting with Barkley. The players obviously seek his counsel, indeed I see that when he's with England (Gerrard always appeared to get on with him). Just because Jagielka doesn't beat his chest doesn't mean he's not a top captain.
