Baines for me. Jags is a good choice and at the minute more vocal but I think Baines has more to come in terms of responsibility/leadership. Baines' role means he can be influential in attack and defence, and he has the potential to step up and change games when it counts with free kicks/crosses etc.

Arteta has the skill but I think Baines trumps him on work rate and enthusiasm (and I think being English helps in the PL).

Cahill has the heart and the mouth but he is getting on and not the best role model with some of his more choice behaviour.

This being said I wouldnt be surprised/disappointed with any of the people I mentioned, all behind Tony of course ;-)

voted for cahill suprised how many jags has got like but thinkin about it
he would be a deecent captian and with timmy in the atm role if there was 2 upfront
there could be times were hes not 100% starting unlike jags gets the nod every game
both deecent loyal players i would love to see captain us blues

love the new blue thing with the player names thought everyone was using some code
to change the colours only just got on to this now

just seen the heitinga one above thik if he could sort his head out he was be almost perfect
for it himself but still not guarenteed to start so for me its still r timmy
