Just two weeks out now. Have been looking forward to this since Golovkin entered the ring after the Chavez fight. Was watching the box nation preview show last night where they sat down and got the thoughts of the various british fighters they battered the past few years, good insight from them.

I think its been made at the right time and is a proper "pick em" fight. There doesn't seem to be a clear favourite.

I know we've a Boxing thread, but after that spectacle last week, and the fact this is one of the best match ups in the sport for a while I thought lets give its own thread.

Nah can't see Canelo stopping him, not sure if Golovkin can outbox him - at least based on the Jacobs fight. Absolutely no way this will be a let down.

Probably give the edge to Golovkin slightly, I just get the feeling it's Canelo's time to become a truly established superstar.

I want Golovkin to knock his ginger head off. Hoping for a classic. I'm not a massive boxing fan, but this is a proper fight. Not sideshow Shtick we seem to have 3x a year.

See, unlike the last 'fight' where an acceptable outcome for me would be both Floyd and Conor losing, this is the exact opposite where I like both fighters and would be happy to see either win!

It is a hard one, but in the saying 'you are only as good as your last fight' I think Canelo edges it. I have voted for a TKO but I feel it can go either way!

A close one thats for sure, and it will be a scorcher of a fight!!
