Hey Guys. Going to Cancun in march, anyone ever been? What's it like? Similar to Ibiza et al? Reasonable priceage of Ale?

used to be boss, been a bit ruined since the us brits discovered it, still good fun though

Depends where you're staying lid. If you're in the hotel zone then you've got nice beach on one side and lagoon on the other with loads to do in resort.

I prefer Playa del Carmen. Its a bit more laid back and is full of bars and restaurants.

Did you get a nice hotel? Boss place anyway. Some of the best excursions I've ever done. I'd love to go back.

Oh and if youre early March youll catch the end of Spring Break so the clubs will be heaving with minge.

Went for my honeymoon back in 2005....was boss , apart from I kinda had to take the wife

i was there last year, CONcun. everyone just tries to get money out of you.

only because of the company i was in i enjoyed it. beware of upgrade this, you need to pay this and pay that, and also, you need to keep about £40 to pay to go back out the country.

make sure you got plenty of cash.

Went cancun in may . It was class if you were in your 20s or early 30s as it was grad week for the yanks so most of them are getting steamed . Not so good if your older than that but you can go playa del carman. Theres some fine [Poor language removed] about though

Went in June, stayed at the Riu Palace, great place. Dont think its expensive as everyones making out - $30 each in most clubs/bars thats all your ale for the night. Coco Bongos a little more expensive but worth the trip - we opted for the VIP in there defo worth the extra. Ate out a few nights but our hotel had 7 restaurants so ate there a few nights as well - if you can try and eat at Elefanta Thai - its by the shopping centre. Ask for a hut and try and book around sunset, amazing place

The excursions are good, something for everyone we went to Chichen Itza, did the jungle tour and Quad biking.
As someone said before the yanks are anoying like but they are harmless

Thanks lids. Someone mentioned playa del carmen too, might be worth a venture. 45 minutes on the bus apparently? i guess it's not as touristy

Went in 2004 it was boss, thinking about going back in march. Nice hotels on the beach plenty of activities to do during the day and decent nightclubs and bars for the evening. Bit annoying having to tip for everything and not to fussy on the alcohol they serve you if all inclusive. Best day out we had was at the xel-ha park plenty to do there in a nice lagoon.i`d recomend it. Spent a decent bit of dosh there though but brilliant holiday mate.Doesn`t seem to have changed that much looking at the day trips and nightclubs etc.
