Cancellara's doped bike

He won the first stage of this years Tour and his bike was ripped apart afterward: zilch.

As he quipped: "You better have a look at me, because I'm the engine on that bike".

Owned.

I saw that before, that thing makes a ridiculous amount of noise. I've done tens of dozens of bike races, was semi-professional in my late teens, and you can quite clearly hear any noise coming from the bikes of everyone around you (wind doesn't block anything out, I mean).

If this is to be the Tour de France thread, then Evans has been dropped, and I couldn't be happier.

Good. A moody, crying arse.

What do you call a a pointless 2,200 mile race around France called?

The French.

Can't find it elsewhere, so come on Cavendish, become the first person to win on the Champs in consecutive tours. Green jersey seemingly out of reach but a fifth win would be awesome.

The Tour this year has been a farce since Contador's shitheel tactic of wiping out Schleck's lead in the mountains, when the latter's chain came off. He's a great rider Contador, as two previous Tour wins prove, but he's lost a lot of fans this time around. The Spaniard's win today is devalued.

the speed he has over some already ridiculously fast people is scary - he just blew past them all without seemingly that much effort.

It was a fantastic picture from the motorbike by their side, I was asking myself where he was and admit to being momentarily worried, then suddenly like some locamotive he just went steaming past them all on the far side. Just excellence!

I hope the button breaks, he can't stop pedalling and goes over the edge of a mountain.

Would make it more interesting.

The family of Fabio Casartelli might find that comment a little tasteless, and I would agree with them.
Looks like the end of Hushovd, doesn't have the legs for the winning line sprints it seems.
