Oh, good job to newbie Lewis Hamilton for grabbing his first Pole, but as I watch this live, Alonso is having a torrid time, from screwing up the first corner from understeering, I just watched him jack up the hairpin allowing Massa to go by.

They are still working on him. One MASSIVE accident. I hope he is ok, I know the strength of the monocoque, but his head was bouncing around everywhere!

This happened at the Casino Hairpin, and they are STILL working on him. No word on his status yet.

Well, he is alive, they have cleared the track and the race is back on. Unfortunately they spent most of the safety car time on commercial so no real update on Kubica.

Kubica - condition stable. That is all they have said.

Alonso had a stop and go penalty and now just ran off the track for a third time!!

great GP, kubica's a boss driver aswell...:|, good that alonso didnt win, i hate alonso...it was hilarious, he was overtaken by sato!!! haha...thats boss for sato aswell...i was so happy

Sato overtook Raikkonen as well! Amazing that Hamilton has had this race in the bag even with all the safety car periods!

kubica has a broken leg but is stable.

nice win for luis hamilton, he will be earning the kind of money footballers can only dream of soon.

Well, I always want McLaren to win, so this was a great race for that, also the fact that Hamilton has won his first race in 6 attempts. This is just about unheard of. He could deffo be one for the future
