Anybody on here been on a working holiday visa and travelled about a bit?

If so would you recommend it and did you pick up work easy enough?

Been and done Australia, now I've been home I'm bored again.

Wouldn't mind doing some work in an obscure place for the experience.

My brother's wife is from Toronto, her opinion "Toronto f-in Sucks". I don't mind it but it just seems kind of sterile and like a place where you go because that's where the money is.

Vancouver or Montreal is where you want to be.

Sorry @Paulie meant to reply to this yesterday.

I have a friend who works on ski resorts near Banff and she's absolutly loving it mate.

I've been too, as my sis used to live there, and it's an amazing place. Very clean and tidy!

Highly recommend it.

Best thing I did moving from Toronto. Just your typical big, expensive city. I do miss friends and bars there, and the short trip (2 hrs) to the States (Buffalo). But being in Alberta is so much better, apart from the 8 1/2 hr trip to the States.

In addition to the Western Canada and Alberta shouts, you want to check out some of the maritime provinces like Nova Scotia. Loved it when I went there some years ago. Think most of the new jobs are still in Alberta

Have a mate there.heard nothing but good things about the place. winters are baltic i believe. may go myself due to economic reasons although i would prefer to stay here if i can

I lived there for 3 years in London, Ontario it was a really lovely country but there was precious little to do in London. So don't go there as you will struggle to find a job especially in the winter.
Been to Calgary a few times as well which i really enjoyed would have much preferred to live there haha.
