If current points per game stayed the same, it would end up:

4th - Liverpool 77 points
5th - Man City 74 points
6th - Man United 73 points

We'd need 42 pts out of 48 for 4th. Or 38 points out of 48 for 6th. Which is obviously never going to happen.

So basically, to have any chance, we need teams above us to start dropping a lot more points than they have been doing.

February will tell us everything. 4 winnable games for us. Whilst the others have got League Cup Finals, FA Cup games and European fixtures to deal with. If we take maximum points and teams above us slip up (pun intended), then we'll talk about catching them. Until then it remains a massive long shot.

I severely doubt 6th place in the league will require 73 points. At least one of those teams occupying 2nd-6th will suffer some lack of form.

Could see Arsenal dropping out if Sanchez gets injured. They are massively reliant on him.

Working at a bet Fred tonight, we started the season at 12/1 too finish in the top 4. From Dec 1st - Jan 5th we were 125/1. Then on then we dropped to 100/1. From the 14th we dropped to 66/1. If we win next week, they reckon it could drop to to 50/1 or even 33/1. Might stick a few £ on before it drops

For me the top 3 will be Chelsea, Spurs, United. At least one from Liverpool City or Arsenal will go pear shapped but can we catch them? Only hope we have for Liverpool is to win that game at Anfield

United are not going to finish in the top 3, Jesus Christ.

That looks really skinny, don't think too many took that on, Especially after last season's form.
