What is love?
Ahead of my highly anticipated visit to what I've heard is a wonderful country, I'd like to find out more about the history of it.

Does anyone have any good resources they recommend - documentaries, books, podcasts etc? Last night I watched 'First they killed my father' and that was a harrowing movie. Others on my list include The Killing Fields.

Thanks as ever in advance for your help.

There's a good documentary called The Missing Picture about the Khmer Rouge. Think it's about five years old.

I'm sure there must be some interesting stuff out there that isn't also utterly grim. Saying that, when we visited a few years ago we were cheerfully greeted at the hostel by the owner, who then insisted we 'sit and enjoy' watching an extended cut of The Killing Fields.

I've not been over that part of the world and so i've not seen with my own eyes in the real world. I have watched TV documentaries and the ladyboy thing has been mentioned or talked about before and i have to be honest mate..... some, not all obviously, but some are hard to spot. Really confusing and it does something to a man when you find out. Unreal aint it LOL

Like i said i've not been over there and seen for myself but i can imagine many a man have been duped.

@Zatara Maybe Zat can say a few words on this. I'm sure he's been around it all before.
