Best Partridge episode

Sorry never been dude, sounds good though obviously

Cambodia is fantastic mate, my favourite SE Asian country. The people are really friendly (not like that, though I believe that is available but not recommended - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-22594318), the food is fantastic and the scenery is stunning. Everyone goes to Angkor Wat, and it is beautiful, but most people skip Phnom Penh which is a shame. It's not as pretty as some other parts of SE Asia and it isn't the most lively either but it is a fun town with some really interesting history. If you do go to PP the Pavillion is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of the city (http://www.thepavilion.asia/). It's not as cheap as some other places but it's an oasis of calm in a very hectic place, it's got all the mod cons and it keeps out the sex tourists.

A couple of things though, there is no public transport network and very few official taxis so you just agree a fee with a local and they will drive you from place to place or drive you about for a set period of time. In Angkor Wat there is plenty of tuk-tuks so you'll be fine there. Getting from city to city there are private coach companies, they're a bit rustic but they are very cheap. They stop a lot and at most stops there are peddlers who come on the bus trying to sell deep fried tarantula legs and sometimes whole deep fried spiders. The Cambodians go crazy for that stuff but it didn't taste of a whole lot to me. Finally, there are quite a lot of guns in Cambodia. I never felt threatened anywhere or at any time of day but you do see more than most people are accustomed too.

Get yourself there mate, it's a brilliant country.

I'm there now.

Fk me it's cheap as chips. Bought three rolex's for a tenner the other day, and they all came in original rolex clippy bags.

Will post some pics when I get back !!

If you're competent on a motorbike the get down to happy happy lucky lucky thieving [Poor language removed] motorcycles or whoever, get a trials bike and head east. It gets better the further east you go, basically.

Phnom Penh is loads of fun, crazy place. Angkor Wat is a must for anyone, do three days if you can and see as many temples as possible. If the kids harassing you do your brain in, find the biggest one and pay him 5 dollars to keep the rest the **** away from you, ut worked for me.

Sihanoukville is a good laugh as well if you fancy a bit of beach. There's a bit of an expat scene down there. The wife stayed there working for a bit a few years back.

Ace country.

Isn't it like the council estate of SE Asia? Heard the poverty is really bad and you get harrassed everywhere.

I don't want filthy peasants clawing at me. *turns nose up and walks off with gucci handbag*
