WEST BROM winger Callum McManaman says being an Everton fan means he doesn't like Wayne Rooney and admits he still has a hatred for Liverpool.

West Brom winger Callum McManaman is still a big Everton fan
McManaman faces his boyhood club at the Hawthorns tonight and also spoke about his disappointment at being rejected by the Toffees as a youngster in a candid interview with The Independent.

“I was dead bitter about it. But you get past it," the former Wigan man said.

Despite being turned down by the club he holds so dear to his heart, the 24-year-old is still passionate about the club he grew up supporting.

He was back at Goodison Park in August for Duncan Ferguson's testimony, where he lined up against Manchester United captain Rooney.

He hinted that he didn't like Rooney after he left for Old Trafford and was equally outspoken when quizzed about Everton's rivals Liverpool.

The pair will do battle this weekend in the Premier League.

“I liked [Wayne] Rooney but then he left," he added.

“The derby’s on Sunday so I might go to that. I still go to the games when I get a chance like. I will be in the Gwladys Street.

“In a derby, yeah – I hate them."

yeah, but it's the forum of another club, one you actually support.

Not saying he posts/reads all the time, but if you were playing for another team, and still managing to go to the odd Everton game, wouldn't you pop on the forum now and again for a laugh?
