Impressed with how composed Callum looks at left back, and looking back to his debut he did well at right back too. Is he ready to be our back up to Baines this season?

Looks more comfortable at fullback than Holgate tbh. Martina can cover both sides of the pitch as well, so our cover is not as bad as some think.

Be fine for the odd game but if baines was out for a while we need a more experienced player. Martina said in interview that he could play left back so maybe hes the cover for both sides?

He saw alot of the ball today, even put in a few good balls with his left peg. Solid enough defensively but does seem a bit too predictable coming in on his right while on the attack.
