Bye Bye Game/Gamestation

Luckily, the Isle of Man is fairly backward. I'm counting on it displaying its usual lack of keeping with the times when I hit town tomorrow.

Luckily ours isn't on the list, genuinely wouldn't surprise me if it was the last one open purely cos the carrier pigeon got lost and didn't deliver the news of administration.

Had a tenner in loyalty points but they kept cancelling my orders the last fortnight. Could have gone in to spend them I suppose but couldn't be arsed.

Is the IOM still backward mate? Still full of dartboards and pool clubs?

Not as bad as it was mate, but it still surprises me sometimes with how ridiculous some things are. It's easy for me to notice not having been born here, some folks outside the main towns are a bit odd, to say the least.

I always saw Game as one of those shops parents go into for presents, pay top dollar because they don't know any better. Same as Dawsons is to music shops.

And pound shops ffs. As I see it if every shop becomes a charity or pound shop then that means eventually we'll all be able to buy houses, cars, teles etc. for a quid each.
