tbh Bruce they've had a bit of a monopoly over the years and tried to see off the competition from the budget airlines by syphoning funds to run their budget 1 at a loss, to try to screw the easyjets of this world, they saw off Mr. Laker with his Skytrain with such tactics, and in the large acted a bit unfairly over the years.

They'll get into bed with anyone. I agree with the feeling that they are bad capitalist dirty pig dogs, trying to monopolise the airports. The times I've flown with them the staff have always been great. The company does deserve a kick up the backside though just for their tactics used protecting the monopoly.
