Buying my arl fella a coat

As part of my dad's Chirstmas presents I want to get him a coat. He's about 63, works as a maintenance man. Do this look decent? Just the general style, not sure what people in Liverpool are wearing these days. Not buying him anything trendy but don't want him looking like a meff. Thanks in advance for all the useless replies.
