One of my all time favourites.

An absolute staple of my early movie experience in stuff like Smokey and the Bandit, and the Cannonball Run movies.

Then my dad made me watch Deliverance. Crikey.

He was great in Boogie Nights. Don't think I've seen him in anything since then. Deliverance was just fantastic.

Still haven't watched Deliverance.
Burt being the first centrefold in Playgirl was a cop out with no nads on display.
Brilliant in the Smokey films, and quietly menacing in Boogie Nights.

One of my favourite films when I was younger. Sad news, but, what a life.
