Bursitis

Anyone ever had a hernia before?

Felt a lump in the top of my groin this morning. Have read there's some sort of fake-hernia linked with shingles but not sure what it is yet.

Can they just be pushed back in if it is a hernia or is surgery inevitable one way or another?

Anyone ever had bursitis before? Especially round the hip/lower back area? Cba going to the doctors tomorrow if it is just that but the symptoms are vague online.

Basically above hip, a bit round the back and front is really sensitive to the touch and aches constantly. Can’t lay on it and sitting down even hurts after a while. Maybe done it running/football. Just seeing if anyone has had it and can describe what it felt like.

Can he defend corners?

At this stage it might be wise to take yourself off to the glue factory, you are obviously facing a losing battle health wise and there is a good chance you'll end up like @Joey66 in a few years time. Do you really want to put more stress on @COYBL25 having to translate for you too?

...Does your wife like vacuum cleaners? :D:p

I of course am only jesting. Joey is one of the posters that makes this all worth it and as for your hernia it just depends, more likely than not it can be pushed back in, it tends to be abdominal ones that require surgery to close the gap that it popped through. The only hernia that you absloutely do not ever want to get is a hiatus hernia.

Hey I've got a hiatus hernia equals silent reflux horrible plus I'm too old for major surgery.......

I had what`s known as an inguinal hernia years ago.

It`s a weakness in the stomach wall, where it joins the groin muscles.

If I coughed, laughed or did any heavy lifting it was more pronounced and there was a slight dull ache.

I had to have surgery, but now days it`s done with keyhole surgery with a very quick recovery time.

There`s a few different types of hernia, so I`d go to the Dr`s and get it checked out.

Yes plus fist clechnhed together across your chest stood up and bounce on the back of your heels in unison sends the stomach acid back down your osphosagas food pipe works well ......

That was me who told you that Joey!

Although I see you have added your own little twist on it, but whatever works. :D

Saves me a fortune not having to buy Gaviscon by the truck load, but you still have to get the uncomfortable feeling first to know when to do that - unless you do it every night? The difference between a rolling one where I don't have it all the time and one that gives you grief every night I suppose.
