An Everton XI will travel to Victoria Park on Saturday to take on Burscough in a friendly

Wish they wouldn't play these games at the same time as the first team friendlies. Going to Morecambe on Saturday at the same time as this, but would have gone to Burscough if it had been on the Friday night or on the Sunday.

Everton are sending a team mainly academy and some reserves. Burscough have several trialists and the club are NOT doing a match programme for this game.

Cheers Mr AB, keep us posted on how its goes please mate? i'm away from the home town so cant get to the youth games, love hearing how the young'uns are getting on.

Yes pay on the day and i hope you find this information useful
There are two railway stations within walking distance of the ground serving the villages of Burscough and Burscough Bridge which have now merged to become one extended village. BurscoughBridge is served by Northern line services running between Manchester, Wigan & Southport. The journey from Manchester takes just under an hour and from Southport just under quarters of an hour. From Burscough Bridge station, there is pedestrian access to Bobby Langton Way and the ground. Burscough Junction is around 10 - 15 minutes walk from the ground and lies on the Ormskirk to Preston line. The journey from Preston takes around 20 minutes and from Ormskirk just 4 minutes. On leaving the station, you need to turn right along Junction Lane and then right on to Liverpool Road North, cross over the canal and take the second turning on your left, just after the pedestrian crossing in to Mart Lane
Pay on the day?
Where's the ground from Burscough Bridge station?
