Manchester United visit Burnley this weekend and were given 4k tickets. I believe they are giving the visitors the whole of the David Fishwick stand. That would be great news if we receive the same amount wouldn't it?

Chelsea definitely had the 4,000.

I think it's going to be the standard this year. Gutted i'll land after the game has kicked off ffs.

It certainly would. Any idea how much Burnley charged them? Promoted team usually have a habit of charging circa £40 a ticket.

Sunderland was £35 our game appears to be £40

Strictly speaking, it's not a case of 'receiving the same amount' as Manu or anybody else, I think you'll find that the clubs talk to each other and their respective box offices and membership schemes agree on ticket allocations for visitors... hence when a crap travelling support like Fulham came to Goodison, the Upper Bullens was available to home fans as only the Lower Bullens went to Fulham. So if Everton were only to ask for 3,000 tickets, that would be the allocation.

And they do have a small, but aggressive bunch of nutters who hang around the streets after the game !!

The facilities in the away stand are grim.

You can say that again! I went there the last time they came up a few years back - easily the worst ground in the Prem this season, and that takes some doing, beating Palace & QPR's grounds.

The Burnley 'facilities' are like something out of the early 1970s.

Haha. Is right.

I know a few Burnley fans and they're mostly sound, but, given I'll be making my way back home intertwined with my wool brothers, I might give colours a miss that day.

It can't be worse than QPR's upper tier, surely?
