First time it's happened to me.

Got broken into last night. Went through the coats downstairs and took my keys. Car gone. Absolutely gutted. Only had 1800 miles on it.

Must have been targeted because they took nothing else.

I've been there, and to be honest I've been messed up since, never feel happy leaving the house empty these days.

Hopefully they catch the scumbags and they get what they deserve.

It was a Seat Leon Cupra. The police said they were chasing it round Netherton but they couldn't catch it.

Been on the the phone all morning sorting insurance etc.

Sorry to hear that, complete arsebandits. Hope they crashed the car and died a slow painful death.

But on the plus side least they didn't go through anything else and a car is probably the easiest thing to replace. Like you I leave my keys for this reason as they are more likely to take that and run. Not that they would want to anyhow, but that's besides the point.

Utter scumbags. It's one of my biggest fears and the mental damage it can do is underestimated. Hope they catch the lowlife(s) and that you get your insurance etc sorted without too much hassle.
