Bully gets body slammed

I never had problems with bullies because I wasn't afraid to stand up to them/stand over them.

My brother had all sorts of problems though. There's usually reasons as to why kids do these things (bad parenting/problems in the household), and they are only kids at the end of the day, but if they don't know right from wrong there's nothing better than the victim stepping up and putting them in their place. If the kids bullying my brother had been close enough to my age I'd have kicked the **** out of every last one of them. Alas, they were a bit too young!

This particular video has been going around for ages. The notorious imageboard 4chan has elected the kid their new hero, and I think they even got loads of people to write to his school when the kid who fought back, Casey, was suspended for 3 days for the incident. I think the bully was suspended for weeks though.

Good stuff, anyway. Casey's got a mature head on his shoulders, to not only stand up to the bully, but to also walk away and not go over the top.

That little rat claimed on a news interview that he was the one being bullied by the bigger lad.

Sure...

Yeah I saw a few interviews. He was clearly lying. I mean you can see the video, the kid's got people with him filming it ffs. Maybe he was playing up to the cameras, trying to impress people, but it was misguided and downright nasty. He got what was coming to him. Casey comes off as a really nice kid in his interviews, too.

Bullies are pathetic tbh.

I was bullied when I was in my first school, when I was about 7 by some lads because I was short. Seriously though, what group of lads bullies girls?! I used to come home black and blue like, then I started karate, became silver British champ by 10 years old, changed schools and didn't let anyone speak a word of sh*t to me.

Karate and things do a world of good for your confidence.

Awesome.

I was never dedicated enough (read: I'm a lazy ****er) to learn a disciplined art like Karate, but I was always a big, tall fecker, so that helped me look a bit meaner in the face of bullies. Who are all, always cowards, anyway. Always.

Good on him.

A schoolgirl in the town I grew up in committed suicide not that long ago because of being bullied at school.

My first experience, I don't know if you could even call it bullying or just a random beating, was when I was at an indoor playground thing aged 5 or 6, and a group of 9 or 10 year olds knocked me down and started kicking me. Couldn't do anything back, obviously. Two older girls (12-ish?) came over and told them to go away.

I'm not a violent or "tough" person in any description, but those pricks set off something in me that day. Any time I or a friend was started on, a switch just flicked in my head, and I sorted it. I still have the same 'switch', but I'm at an age now (22, nearly 23) where getting into fights is a bad road, so I haven't in at least 5 or 6 years.
