Haha I know, but it was just a soap , sure that being said I live in Dublin at the moment and fair city is meant to be a reflection of Dublin life. Biggest pile of [Poor language removed] on tv. Would rather stick pegs on my balls than sit through an episode
 
Got to know a few of the cast/crew through working at the Everyman all those years ago. Some really good people, Tina Malone Simon O'Brien Lewis Emerick and a good few more.
On the flip side, Dean Sullivan was an absolute gobshite of the highest order. Vile specimen of a human.

Heard he got sacked as a drama teacher at a local college for pretty much the same reason.
 

The only soap my wife watched when I met her thirty odd years ago. Some great characters! Spotted Sinbad in something recently.
 
For us expats it was are great.
But as someone said it done us no favours,all in sundry thinking they had great scouse accents.
But,if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at
