So SKY have messed me around for the second house move in a row so I've had enough and want to change provider?

Who is the best, and good value for money?

Oh, SKY are terrible. They've cancelled me twice now and I've had to be reconnected which they say will be back on in 5-10 days. 5 days in I get a letter saying it will be back on 31st October. You what?!?!

I had no probs with sky when i moved 2 years ago,the dish was up the same day we got in new house and the net was back up in 10-14 days think it was,be aware though people you have to let the line speed build up via phone line [when phone is back on] before the net can be turned back on [which i though the internet was on the second your phone was switched back on]

As goat says, virgin are sound. They do the 30mb connection as part of the tv/phone/b'band XL package. £50 all in last time I looked.

BT are pretty good ijjy. Nice and easy on the bill to have broadband and the phone line + the BT vision thing all in one package

Plus their Home Hub looks cool, and that's what's really important here.

No matter who you choose for adsl( regular copper links, as opposed to fibre) you'll be with BT.

Virgin Media here as well, you can get 10mb with tv and phone with evening and weekend calls for about £30, in fact I saw an ad for 10mb for a fiver, but there will be conditions with that such as paying for installation that bump it up.

Tv box has packed in a few times, but broadband has been sound. In fact I only have it for the internet really now, but wasn't worth cancelling the other things.
