I suspect Kenwright did the deal last May. I'm not surprised he got ill. Its just a matter of timing and going through this charade.
 


Truth is we don't look that great at the back weather Stones plays or not and we need to invest to compete even for a europa place (forget top 4) so I think we would sell at £30 mill.

We don't know that though.
Look at how we seem interested or we make offers for players once we know they are going somewhere else.
There was the guy who went to newcastle,the 2 west ham players and shaqiri who very late in the day we showed interest.
My guessing is we have 6 or 7 million to spend if that .
 
it's clear that they have been wrestiling with everton for a while now, this public bid is just a phase in a long fight. i think there has been bid or two already.
 
There's already a thread to discuss the possibility of Stones going to Chelsea Finners.
Not sure we need another one, even one with a poll in it, and I love a good poll
