Won’t work. 18 clubs? Means two will have to drop out, that’s not fair or is it fair on all the other clubs within the English and Scottish footballing systems.
 
Would only work if they reform all leagues, so the Scottish clubs gain an advantage also. If it were to happen you'd need to discuss one hell of a TV deal (or their own platform) across the board.

Best way to start the ball rolling is to scrap the League Cup and make it a British Cup. Makes a boring cup much more interesting, and also we get to see first hand how various clubs size up to PL/Championship/League One clubs
 

It'd only work if all Welsh and Scottish clubs were incorporated into the English pyramid.

The problem with that is where they start.

Overall though, at least in theory, it'd be extremely good for football overall IMO. Shame it's unworkable.

Great for football, terrible for the likes of Everton.

I was just exasperated really.
After 72 hours that saw the birth and death of the ESL and a 700 page thread about it, I went on Twitter only to find that BSL was trending lol
