British Nucleus

What im liking about the squad for this season now is the British nucleus of players we have now got. Coleman, Stones, Jag's, Baines, Barry, Gibson, Barry, McCarthy, Osman and even Naismith and Hibbert to an extent that provide the core of our 1st 11. Add to that Howard, Pienaar and Distin that have been in England so long that their almost citizens we have players that understand the importance and team ethic of being Everton as well as what is required to perform in the big games i.e derby matches.

Then you add the guile, pace and strength of Miralles, Kone and Lukaku we are looking strong.

Looking forward to our season starting properly now from the foundation of 3 draws

FFS, they rolled over and let the Queen tickle their tummies last year.

The Republic of Ireland is more British in outlook than Liverpool is.

They call Cork the Rebel County and there isn't a rebel in it.

Everton have had some wonderful Irish players down the years and strong support from there so I'm pleased we have a few now, who are amongst some of the best in the team too.

We need some boss Welsh players though, boss Everton have boss Welsh players.
