This tbh. It's too late on a Saturday night to go into it but the hero worship of soldiers, when compared to those who put their body on the line to serve truly serve the country is unwarranted. Where is the thanks and recognition for the regular bobby and those in the Fire Service, Search and Rescue, the RNLI etc etc? The worship of soldiers in this country is an unfortunate consequence of the influence of American culture on our society.

You're right lad, all those who die for their country or it's people should be remembered. RNLI, etc should be included, but don't knock the services if they aren't, those lads and girls still died for you and I..........
 
I'm on Wreath Laying duty in Padstow this morning. Just about to get my No 1s on and head out.

Then to the Legion for an hour or two with the old boys. God love 'em.
