I follow football to regulate excess serotonin.
Here's a question submitted from the Southeastern United States, after listening to far too much football commentary this weekend:

"Can there be a little argy-bargy without a bit of hurly-burly involved?"

Please discuss and elaborate. We wish to be educated further on this point.

I say yes!

Argy bargy includes a bit verbal jousting not necessarily anything physical whereas hurly burly is deffo wrestling, pulling and pushing with perhaps a bit of fisticuffs thrown in.

I vote yes.

YOU HAVING A TIN BARTH?

Fanny means arse? What the actual hell?

Yes, actually. Study this, nik. Everything old is new again, eventually. This brings some fond memories back to some of us oldsters. Good luck.

Not Individually of course but the Americans are just as one eyed, fundamentalist, barmpots, and thus So different than 'Us' as are the Iranians.

And don't even get me started on Frogs and Krauts

Degsy: Slightly Xenopobic since? well since that long he can't remember, It's my right, being English ( mongrel ) to look down on all the others who aren't 'Us'... just like the rest of the world really ( again collectively, not Individually ) present company excepted ( mostly )

Glad that's sorted.
