British Goalies; where have they all gone??

We use to have ace British Goalies;

Pat Jennings, Nev, Leighton, Gough, Wilson, Corrigan, Shilton, Clemence, Banks, Dai Davies, West, for example, would all get in any of the current British international sides.

Why dont we have many decent ones anymore????

these isles use to have keepers on the level of banks, shilton and southall. i think what roydo meant is that we don't have that caliber no more.

Just watched Barnsley smash 5 past Jack Butland, at Home, to be fair he didnt really have a sniff for any of them, terrible defending from Brum.

You can ask the same about british managers, british strikers, british wingers etc. Legacy of the british leagues being full of foriegn players.
