MC Hammer won that. The Brits have no controversy anymore, we need to bring the spirit of Keith Moon back for next year.

Need someone to rip into 1d, like Noel Gallagher quite a few years back when A1 won best British break through. Noel came out to present an award and was in tears of laughter saying " I never thought the Brits had a sense of humour, fcuk me A1"

I should have logged on last night - I'm sure the wife put the BRITS on just to wind me up!!!

I hate 1d with every ounce of my being, not content with ruining a great Blondie tune, they murdered one of the finest songs ever in Teenage Kicks - I can't believe that garbage is going to sell massively, all because it's 1d and for charity.

Having read through the thread, all of you need to go and check out Alabama Shakes, they're all kinds are brilliant.

Alabama Shakes are nothing new mate. Check out the music threads for more.

Have to say their album has 3 great tracks on it.

But the rest is a huge let down.

I didn't watch it because its nearly always **** and its sole purposes are to shift more units of "artists" that already sell bucketloads and to do a bit of self-congratulatory backslapping. That said, I heard that One Direction single on the radio yesterday and it really is a new low. There's a special place in hell reserved for them for that. Whoever thought it was a good idea should be murdered.

I don't usually watch it, I was working on the laptop, and the wife put it on....whilst I complained about how crap everyone on there was, then I entered full rage when one direction came on.
