The whole back four were great today but Baines was exceptional, right back to his best, showing the Chelsea fans and the Londoncentric pro Ashley Cole Press what a world class left back really looks like.

Yeah he's deffo back on form, seeing him a lot further up the field again. Hope he can grab a few goals between now and the end of the season.

eh? we lost 1-0 and most of his crosses (and corners) didn't beat the first man.

Since Oviedo got injured he's been outstanding. Can't remember two fullbacks in our team that are both outstanding footballers from a defensive and offensive perspective, bar Hibbert and Nuno Valente of course.

..Gary Stephens and Pat Van de Hauwe weren't too shaby, along with Tommy Wright and Ray Wilson but this couple are very decent.

Great picture!

Poor is a bit harsh though isn't it mate? Don't think having a clearly tired Osman in front of him helped and he couldn't really get forward as everyone(including him) seemed to have completely forgotten how to keep a ball let alone pass. Was much better, as was everyone really, in the 2nd half
