I tried to watch it honestly my friends practically forced me...went all the way to the middle of season 2...I don't understand the hype about this snooze-fest. It's a good concept but it's the slowest moving drama I've ever seen. I can think of many US dramas that are superior. There.I.Said.It.

PS It would make a great blockbuster movie.

No-one forced to watch a programme ever enjoyed watching that programme. I was coerced into watching The Shield, couldn't stand the main guy in the pilot episode so didn't continue.

That said, never really understood the complaint that BB is slow-moving. Couple of esp at the start of S2 - S4 that are setting the plot, but those aside the show runs at a relentless pace.
