Brazilian Super Fan Dies Of Cancer

Clovis A. Fernandez, aka, Gaucho da Copa, died aged 60 due to Cancer. Followed his beloved Brasil pretty much everywhere. Been to 7 World Cups starting Italy '90... visited more than 60 countries, to see 150 Selecao matches.

Now I am sad.

I guess as his final match he at least got to enjoy watching Brazil thrash my Yanquis. #YMNNTTMNTNtNnMNT

Was he the one against Germany clinging onto a replica World Cup when they got thrashed 7-1?

That was a great highlight and something that always sticks in my mind when I think about the 2014 World Cup.

I feel for him that his final World Cup memories would have been them getting pumped by Germany and Holland

Irrespective of him being dead (RIP etc), that really made my piss boil looking his pathetic poncey face like a deflated Benitez, playing it up for the world's media. I absolutely loved it, LOVED IT, when Brazil got spanked, and had no time for this fella whatsoever. Certainly didn't instill an ounce of sympathy, more 'ha! have that, pal!'.
