it's not new though is it, I understand fans of lower division who resent the so called big clubs, it's obscene the wage bill of premiership clubs imo ,a weeks wages from any of them would go a long way to keeping any club from div one and below in business for a season.
the transfer fees are just crazy at this stage,I do wonder how many clubs will cease to exist in lets say 20 years.Posted before about the demise of Hereford United, one million quid or Mr Rooney's wages for one month would have kept them alive. Lids , we'll rue the day the fa,sky,bbc etc chose to ignore the grass roots of our national sport, a disgrace which sadly is totally ignored.
do wonder though, why the government doesn't step in and help these clubs,they claim to spend millions trying to promote sport in the community , spend millions trying to bring world cups to the country, finance the olympic games, but allow local clubs which unite communities, fade away.
yeah, and Bradford should be getting shed loads simply for knocking out Chelski !
