Bradford City Stadium Fire Anniversary

Serious question here. There was the Bradford fire, the disaster at Ibrox when people were crushed and of course Hillsborough. Yet, it is only Hillsborough that seems to get the mass media response every year. Why are Bradford and Ibrox merely footnotes so it seems?

In fairness, hillsborough has a long running justice campaign to keep it in the papers, would that happen to such an extent if it wasn't associated with the media luvvies lfc? I don't think it would, and with brendan and the press using a human tragedy to boost popularity they are in danger of losing goodwill from outside sources. It tells you everything about the modern football fan that most don't even know the ibrox disaster happened

I recall seeing this terrible event whilst 'working' on a kibbutz in Israel. My thoughts go out to all who suffered loss that day.

the difference i see is that with hillsboro the police were told to change their statements
and the likes of the Sun gave the same steriotype of football fan at the time.Bradford probably
had questions to answer about the state of the stadium, and also Ibrox Of course. don't forget Bolton
as well in the 50's when a tragedy happened there.
