That's what I thought, but apparently not. tbf I've seen trolley dollys on prooer airlines struggling to count beyond 20 so jet2 probably decided to save time by not bothering and just announcing over the tannoy "if anyone extra or missing is on board can they please press the call button after which we'll ignore you"

Oh absolutely. Frankly there are very few times in life that you need to count beyond 20, especially if you've got decent boobs / legs / arse etc.
