For me, Bovril is like bumming. I've never tried it but i'm fairly sure i wouldn't like it.

... And yet there's an element of doubt.

Ha! Back in the days when nobody had a clue about nutrition and just guessed. We have moved far away from this now with sports nutrition companies the winners and people should not buy into supplementation so easily. There are many foods that contain vitamins and minerals as well as BCAA's but sports nutrition companies will rather you spend £50 on a pre or post workout. The only supplements you need are creatine and whey in my opinion. Your diet should be right as well.

Absolutely no need for extra whey protein whether training hard or not. Documented through many studies. Eat your meat/soy/fish and you'll be fine.
