Yes mate, some decent beaches, Bournemouth Beach obviously, but not far from Sandbanks either, which is the crazy expensive area, I think wax face Redknapp lives at sandbanks so you could put his windows in whilst you're there. Tower Park is pretty decent for restaurants and cinema/bowling and stuff. I don't know about the night life though, not been out for the night there before.

All in all I've always enjoyed it down there, we used to have a caravan at Rockley Park in Poole so spent a fair amount of time down that way.

All you really need to know is that there is a Chiquito's a Tower Park where you can eat enough to kill yourself, don't think there were any clubs or pubs there though I'm afraid.
