BOURNEMOUTH VS EVERTON MATCH OFFICIALS

Normally adds what? 30 seconds on after a goal+celebration? Pitch invasion added a minute(?) on to that

You don't just add time on for things like celebrating a goal

There were mere seconds of extra time remaining when we scored with Barkley. The ref played on beyond that.

He was well out of order yesterday. For Bournemouth players to tell the media that Friend told them immediately after Everton's 3rd went in that 'that's that, no time left'...and then to carry on for another 3 minutes was atrocious.

Yes, it was a self inflicted wound allowing B'mouth back to 2-2, but conceding the third in a '98th minute' fantasy time zone was down to the ref.

I agree with you there mate.

It's horrendous defending on our part but the match was over. I don't see why he let them have another attack considering we scored bang on 95 minutes and it restarted on something like 98 minutes.
There were 15 seconds left of the 5 minutes extra time when Barkley scored, Tom. Bournemouth's goal was scored 27 seconds
after the restart, and the game ended 6 seconds after the next kick off.

Games rarely end exactly at the end of time added and can go over for a number of reasons. I don't think we can quibble about an
extra 18 seconds.

Those claiming an extra 3 minutes were added haven't thought it through, they weren't. The 'watch' stopped when Barkley scored, and
started again at the restart.

Where are you seeing those exact times from ?

Ref told the Bornemouth players that it was over and no time was left when we scored. Yet he then decides to play some time on. Defending was still a joke though!

I think the problem is in the referee's turn of phrase. When the ref says "it's done", he basically means there's 30 seconds or less left. Football isn't like Ice Hockey, when that clock hits zero it's over. If you can't defend for 30 seconds it's your own fault, but still majorly frustrating. We are twice the team that the RS are yet you still know they'll finish higher up.
