Got taken to Chessington World of Adventures about age 11 with my babysitter and her kids and they were all a bit square and were probably going to go on the tea-cups and look at animals. However when we got there it turned out she was friends with the parents of my two best mates and the 3 of us were allowed to go off on our own! ...what a day.

A lot of you know i'm very very close to my dad. He's my best mate.

We have so many memories together, so here's a couple of my favourites:
- A family story that still gets talked about today, as we were on a walking holiday in the Lake District when I was very young. Anyway, walking up this big hill, my da's fave past time, and i'm moaning and moaning all the way up about something being in my boot, dad's all like 'shut up and keep going'. We get to the top and finally have a look in my boot. An actual walnut in there. Walnut-gate gets talked about at nearly every Smith family get together.

- Chesterfield 3 Middlesbrough 3 in the FA Cup semi final. I grew up near Chesterfield so they were like my cheap team to go and see. Anyway, on 1997 they decided to go mad and get to the FA Cup Semi Final. Somehow Dad got tickets to the semi at Old Trafford. Only for it to be one of the best games anyone has ever witnessed. Chesterfield were royally screwed too.

- Oh and one for luck, back in the day we were big Lightning Seeds fans (I KNOW NOW), and dad got us tickets to see them at Sheffield City Hall. Excited we head over the hills to essentially hear Life Of Riley and imagine Goal of the Month, only for it to be eerily quiet that night. Yeah the concert was the night before. Classic Dad Smith.

I don't like to reminisce, but The Hacienda nightclub in full swing.....being accosted by some German girl for the weekend when I lived in Spain.....Radiohead concerts.......watching Shawshank for the first time........the birth of my daughter........happy, happy times.

One for me was when my little girl was born. Not going to go into the soppy stuff on it, it was just when she was born i remember, no tears or emotion other than looking at her and just thinking she looks like her brother. just knowing it was a little kenshin baby was a boss memory to have.
