Thought this match needed a thread.

Surely, in the interests of fairness Ireland should only be playing one country. Play Bosnia tonight and Herzegovina on Tuesday night.

Seriously though this is a proper game and a test for Ireland given the injuries and suspensions. Martin O Neil is going to have to pull in a couple of good replacements and come up with something to keep this one tight.

B&H have some quality players, 5 of them played in CL last week. The Roma pair look particularly dangerous, need to watch set pieces.

A draw would do very nicely or, at worst a 2-1 defeat. I think a goal is a must if they score.

It will be a tight game, COYBG.

I'd say this could be the hardest team they could have drawn to be fair. Unlike Sweden & Denmark who have really only one star Bosnia have a nice mix of talent and experience. Think O'Shea will be a big miss in marshaling the defence & they'll have to be wary of giving away any free-kicks in decent areas as Pjanic is on form with them this season.

My thoughts entirely. Hopefully they can do enough tonight to keep the tie alive and get them back to Dublin. A draw would be a great result.

Haaajmo Bosno, Bosno, Bosno, haaajmo Hercegovino!
