Some great coverage in the states now, and you can see football is starting to challenge the big 3 sports (long way to go)

A big part of the problem, especially for MLS is they schedule the "big" TV matches on Sundays this time of year, even the playoffs so has trouble since that's when NFL is on

What sort of coverage/support to we get in the states mate? obviously Tim Howard, Landon etc must have got us noticed but I'm genuinely interested what kind of interest there is.

We get a decent amount but the Manchester and London clubs plus the RS get the most airplay usually on the TV (althoughNBC let's you watch any prem game online). There's a fair amount of glory hunters, however at least with some of the people I know what teams they're a fan of is fairly random. A friend of mine likes Southampton because he watched them beat the RS who his roommate supported haha a girl I know supports arsenal because her dad does.

To sum up that waffle I just posted, we do decent here (there's 50 odd supporters clubs I think) but should be doing better considering the Americans we've had. Also still lag behind the RS,UTD, Chelsea, Arsenal

I just love that we've got 50 odd supporters clubs and we're not even successful. Makes it that little bit more special that they love the club and not the glory.
