Borderline boilers

Sorry mods if this has been done, I used the thread search but couldn't see anything similar, feel free to close.

Anyway, Borderline boilers...

Just watched 2 La Roux videos (I'm not well this week and have ran out of in door entertainment don't judge!) and thought in 1 video she looks great in the other, not so much. This, in essence is a Borderline boiler, someone (girl or boy) that, most of the time looks pretty bad but when the sun catches them right, atmospheric conditions are optional, and you squint a bit they look boss.

Who's yours?

I've been with loads who were borderline boilers after about a gallon of beater, but became fully fledged 'gnaw your arm off before waking it' boilers come daylight

La Roux, is a singer, real name elly jackson, they did some music a few years back. I think both Eggs and Bryan meant to respond to the Oldies thread.

Is that what you wanted deciphering my friends or was it the thread in general?

What else would it be other than a person? That's why I didn't call the thread "Ugly Animals You'd Have Sex With", I wanted to keep it about humans really, but if you want to take it somewhere else feel free!

...cheers Matey. In my case, you are absolutely right regarding 'oldies'. So much that you youngsters post goes way over my head. I admit that I genuinely clicked on this thread because I bought a new central heating boiler yesterday and thought I might have something to add. Oh dear, never mind.

Tbh, and don't blow this for me, but I'm getting on a bit myself. I thought I'd I pretended to know some music from 5 or so year s ago it might get me some kudos from the youngsters. I'd thought about a boiler thread but then got distracted and had a moment and wrote about La Roux instead.

While you are there though, my current boiler is an Ariston, and in fairness, it's borderline, any advice?

..... all the advice I've been given points to a Worcester Bosch combi. That's what I've gone for. Thanks for making me feel a bit better.
